Members have money, skills and reach. We pick a few efforts for animals and the climate, put our weight behind them together, and track what changed.

- You have been vegan long enough that it is settled.
- You have built something: a company, a practice, a career, a family.
- You want peers, and you are willing to be asked hard questions.
- You would rather act on the planet’s problems than post about them.
An old brotherhood
Twenty-five centuries ago Pythagoras gathered students at Croton. A candidate was tested for years before he was admitted, and the most advanced were ordered never to eat an animal or harm one. Until the 1840s a meatless diet was called Pythagorean. We are picking the tradition back up.
I hold that, the more helpless a creature, the more entitled it is to protection by man from the cruelty of man.
